Ever thought of your life as a book? Well every life has a story, just a question whether it’s a good or bad read. Recently I attended a wedding and while the bride and groom were being photographed I wondered around the church and found an area that had numerous bricks, a granite wall and benches with the names of many people whom families wished to remember. On all there were dates when these people lived, such as 1924-2004 I could not help but wonder about there story, the dash had filled in 60 or maybe 80 years of life, What was between those dates? I think that as long as we are holding the pen and in control of our own lives we should strive to make it a best seller. What do you think?
So I ask you, how will your book read? Will it be full of adventure or about the adventures you should have taken but didn’t? Will it be full of regret? I’d like to think mine will be about all the adventures of what life had to offer, with as few missed opportunities as possible, I’d like my book to read about the abundance that I shared, not only money, but spiritually, and encouragement I gave to others, about the times I was afraid, but went on the adventure anyway, or just simply took the chance to see what was over the horizon.
I think that many a life story is full of, I should haves, and a lot of if only, why is that? I have come to the conclusion that these people who have boring books operate from a position of scarcity and not abundance as the great authors of their life stories do. I also know that this fear and this feeling of scarcity are not from God as he offers us abundance, so I have come to the conclusion that this feeling of scarcity is due to lack of faith in God.
I encourage you to find that faith, which will give you abundance, live a life full of adventure and take the risks that adventurers take and enjoy what The Almighty intended for you here on earth and in the end, you’ll have a very good read.
