Well we have got to be at least two thirds of the way through this down turn and I base this on the number of real estate agents who have already left the profession. I see where many have dropped their board membership and still others hang on with a full time job.
I have experienced this as I call agents and they whisper, “can’t talk now call me later,” which I do, and again they say “call me after five.” I knew things were getting really bad when I called one of my associates during the day and she said, “call me after work and hung up,.” I called back and said, “this is work, what do you call it?” and she replied that she could not talk now as her boss was near by and she was not allowed personal calls during her work.
This I guess is just a sign of the times as the market shifts back to a more normal rhythm and all those suffering from inadequacy leave the business.
