Ever notice how some agents are just always pumped? No matter what they’re doing, they’re always excited and enthusiastic about life and their business. This is what Craig Groeschel called having “It” in his new book It. Craig also says “It” cannot be taught, and he is probably right, because if “It” could be taught I think every teacher, coach, professor and CEO, would make “It” a must attend class.
Here is the good news “It” can be caught, "It" is contagious, and people with “It” have the ability to pass “It” on to those who don’t have “It.” These excited people with “It” must be careful not to hang around, for very long with those who don’t have “It” because those with “It” can loose “It”. For those without “It”, they will need to get close to people with “It” so they can catch “It”. Just don’t let the person with “It”, know that you don’t have “It” because negativity and pessimism is also as contagious as enthusiasm, and if negativity is caught by the one with “It” you’ll both be in trouble.
As long as you have ‘It”, “It” is all you really need, it’s amazing how those with “It” sacrifice for their real estate education and move into the spotlight as top performers in our profession, they just seem to do all the right things and get all the breaks. Let me tell you, this does not happen by chance, it happens because they have “It”.
For those of you who may have lost “It” or never had “It”, I hope you read this blog, maybe it will help you get “It”, even though I doubt they will, as reading is just not part of their daily habits, but the few that do and want to get “It” Please ask someone who has ”It” to get you of the stands and into the game, and as Craig says. Disturb Me!
