1/2 Empty or 1/2 Full

As real estate sales people, frequently I hear professional coaches and managers and other motivators asking us whether our glass is half empty or half full. At a recent weekend service at Flamingo Road Church in Cooper City, Pastor Troy Gramling taught on the subject with a great insight into what the Bible says.

As a dedicated sales person I have heard the analogy many times over the years but, this one is the most accurate yet. People who have the half empty perspective are usually fearful, selfish and have more than their share of stress and anxiety. Those with half full glasses on the other hand exude confidence, generosity, joy and peace. The latter group operates from abundance not scarcity as the half empty group does.

What they are all trying to say is there is a silver lining to every dark cloud; we must be the ones to find that lining and take advantage of the opportunity at hand, and we can only do that by being positive.
