Seize the Day

This is a topic that is frequently written and talked about and rightfully so, it affects the outcome of life. Everyday we roll out of bed and as you begin making your way to bathroom, either the day is beginning seize you or you are seizing it. If you are doing the seizing you are already planning on how to take advantage of all the potential and opportunity that lay ahead of you this day.

Ask yourself, if this was your last round in a prize fight for the undisputed championship and the score cards were close, would you be able rise to the occasion and pull off the big win? That’s what champions do. This is the way you need live your day at home and at work. I know that’s unrealistic, to do every day, even the best fighters take a round off now and again, they just don’t take most of the rounds off. So I ask when it comes to prospecting, or the other important tasks, do you seize the day or take most of the rounds off and frequently find yourself behind on the scorecard.

Being a fight fan, I frequently see fighters who are fighting with a good game plan but just don’t seem to be able to overcome their opponent. They push on, and thru perseverance they get a power punch off which connects and hurts, or knocks their opponent down, instantly they jump on the opponent they are energized and seize the moment, that’s a champion at work.
The prize fighter’s job is to fight, yours is to prospect. I can assure you the when your prospecting goes well, just as the prize fighter wins the fight he is instantly energized and they frequently tell the interviewers at the end they could fight another 12 rounds, they’ll take on anyone, just bring them on they’ll whip um. When you get the yes seize the moment because you are now re energized, go for the knockout.

The point here is seize the day, don’t take too many rounds off and if you have not picked up an appointment as the end of the day draws near prospect like you are in the last round and the score cards and need the KO. Win and you will be energized to do it all over again the next day.
